Wine Tasting Evening

Join us on Thursday 30th April at 6pm for a Wine Tasting Evening in the Granary Bar, in the company of friends from The Newt in Somerset, part of the wider Babylonstoren winery group.
The evening will centre around a tasting of some of Babylonstoren’s most popular wines, paired with a selection of nibbles chosen by Head Chef Tom. A relaxed and enjoyable occasion, suited equally to those with a keen interest in wine and curious beginners.
Babylonstoren is one of the oldest working Cape Dutch farms in the Winelands region, set around a beautiful, expansive garden inspired by the historic Company’s Garden in Cape Town. In recent years, it has become one of the most respected estates in the Boland, known not only for its wines but also for its remarkable botanical setting.
Throughout the evening, you’ll be guided through flavour profiles and tasting techniques, with each wine paired to complement the food on offer. There will also be the opportunity to purchase any favourites from the evening to enjoy at home.
