General Manager

Meet Curtis, our Pub Manager and the person who helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether he's welcoming guests, supporting the team, or making sure the perfect pint reaches your table, Curtis is passionate about creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door.

When he's not at the pub, you'll often find him playing ice hockey or diving into the latest anime series. From fast-paced action on the ice to epic animated adventures, he's always happy to chat about his favourite teams and shows.

Friendly, approachable, and dedicated to the pub, Curtis is at the heart of what makes our venue such a welcoming place to visit.

Sandra Maria

Assistant Manager

Meet Sandra, our fantastic Assistant Manager who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine love of hospitality to everything she does. With a strong background in hotels and restaurants, she excels at making guests feel welcome and ensuring things run smoothly.

When she's not at work, you'll find her enjoying a good book, heading out for a walk, making memories with family, or sipping a cocktail in the sunshine on holiday.

Phoenix

Bar Supervisor

If you've visited the Blue Boar, chances are you've already met Phoenix! As one of our Front of House Supervisors, she keeps everything running smoothly, helps look after our event bookings, and is always happy to chat about your next celebration, party, or special occasion.

When she's not at work, you'll usually find her socialising with friends, hunting down new beers to try, or spoiling her pet cat. Friendly, organised, and always up for a laugh, Phoenix is a big part of what makes the Blue Boar such a welcoming place to be.

Connor

Assistant Manager

Connor is our Assistant Manager and a true bar enthusiast who has honed his knowledge over the last three years. Whether he's creating a great customer experience or helping guests discover their new favourite drink, you'll usually find him at the heart of the action.

When he's not behind the bar, Connor is the driving force behind our live music events, organising talented performers and helping to create the fantastic atmosphere our venue is known for. Outside of work, he enjoys testing tricks at the skatepark, diving into video games and playing guitar.

Kelvin

Assistant Manager

Meet Kelvin, our Assistant Manager and all-round good-time guy! Passionate about cellar management and serving great quality beer, he's always on hand to support the team and share his knowledge behind the bar.

When he's not at the Blue Boar, you'll probably find him in the gym, tackling a climbing wall, browsing antique shops for hidden treasures, or diving into his latest nerdy obsession. Friendly, knowledgeable, and never far from the centre of the fun, Kelvin brings plenty of energy, humour, and personality to the pub every day.

Emily

Site Operational Administrator

Emily wears many hats at the Blue Boar. As our Site Administrator, she's usually found juggling rotas, paperwork, and a never-ending to-do list. But don't be surprised to see her behind the bar or helping on the floor when the pub's buzzing.

Organised, adaptable, and always happy to get stuck in, Emily is the kind of person who keeps everything moving, often with an oat latte in one hand and a spreadsheet in the other!

When she finds some free time, you’ll find her behind the sewing machine or crocheting in between mum-duties.

Robert

Sous Chef

Meet Rob, our Sous Chef and resident dad-joke champion. Whether he's crafting fantastic dishes in the kitchen or delivering a joke that's guaranteed to make everyone groan, he keeps spirits high wherever he goes.

A keen bird enthusiast, sci-fi fan, and dedicated cheese lover, Rob is just as happy spotting wildlife as he is debating the best space adventure or sampling a new cheese.
