Brush up on your German and dig out your lederhosen because Oktoberfest is returning to The Chalk Hare!
From Friday 25th September to Friday 30th October, we’ll be pouring a cracking line-up of authentic Bavarian beers, while our kitchen serves up a selection of Oktoberfest favourites for you to stein and dine.
And there’s an added reason to dress for the occasion – bookings arriving in traditional Bavarian lederhosen or dirndls will receive their first drink on the house. Just mention it when booking.
On the Bar
Raise a glass to Oktoberfest with our selection of German beers, including Löwenbräu Original, one of Munich’s official Oktoberfest beers, and the crisp König Pilsner.
You’ll also find bottled favourites including Erdinger Alkoholfrei, Bitburger Radler and NOAM Bavarian Lager, alongside seasonal serves including our Alpine 47 cocktail, Radler Spritz and traditional warming Glühwein.
In the Kitchen
This year’s festival will see the return of a few German classics to our kitchen. Keep an eye on our Daily Menu for dishes including baked Cambozola with rye and pickles, chicken schnitzel and Flammkuchen, along with bratwurst, with vegan options available too.
