Functions at the Tufted Duck
The Tufted Duck re-opened following a full refurbishment in August 2026. Our Victorian building, designed by local architect William Huckvale in 1901, has been carefully restored, with original features such as the fireplace in the bar sitting alongside a fresh, contemporary look. Whether you're arranging a get-together with family and friends, a special occasion, or the office Christmas party, our private spaces offer a memorable setting for your next event.
Suitable for up to 28 seated guests or 50 standing, the Tufted Duck is the perfect destination venue for events and gatherings of all kinds. Whatever the occasion, Charlie and the team can help you create a bespoke experience for you and your guests.

The Boardroom
6 to 8 seated
Situated upstairs, the Boardroom is suitable for meetings and small functions from 6 to 8 people. It is a popular spot for private dining, business meetings and intimate birthday gatherings.
Bar 10
50 standing or 28 seated
Bar 10 is a semi-private space benefiting from its own private bar. It will feel as if you have the run of your very own small pub, with optional TV if needed.
We also offer areas within our dining room and bar for semi-private bookings. Please ask us for more information.
